Where did thing called summer go? The days where the kids came into my room at about 8:30-9 - they said they were hungry so my lazy ass sent them to the kitchen to grab something fast while I slowly crawled out of bed and decided what adventure we were going to take for the day. Sometimes, it was nothing, and those ended up being the best days. Summer is such a lose/win situation. The joys of having nothing to do is so magical. Having no alarm, nothing to get dressed for, nothing to brush my teeth for ( gross, i know ) but it truly is amazing. But trust me, it's not all sunshine and rainbows. How about the days you have 9 million errands to do and you have to do them with 2 kids. The summer days where we floated in the pool ( well, we did that everyday ) are amazing, but the summer days where i had to take the 2 kids to target, the bank, publix, carwash and you name it - is not so much fun. You take advantage of the small things in life. Like walking into publix for one thing and it taking 4 minutes start to finish, but add kids, and that one errand takes 45 minutes!! I am literally not joking. I loved summer. Everything about it. But its long - and its draining and i am super happy to be back on a schedule. So speaking of - fast forward, we are already almost in September. I wish blogging was something i HAD to do. I always get my to do lists done - but blogging is something i don't often get to do anymore. Between family, 2 kids , 3 schools, dance, cheer, cook, clean, be a wife, pta, squeezing in time for friends, and sometimes washing my hair, theres just no time anymore! I live for it though. I live for the chaos of this life because I'm not wasting it. Im creating memories and thats all that matters! I read a quote the other day that goes as follows "DON'T LIVE THE SAME YEAR 75 TIMES AND CALL IT A LIFE" So thats what I'm doing. Well, not much else to say right now. I have a ton of pictures to catch up on which will tell a story in itself :) | |
