Happy Happy Birthday Papa George. We love you!!!! And since I will be busy packing for GA tomorow, I want to wish one of the sweetest friends I have Courtney - The happiest birthday too. I love you~!!I am going to need to remind myself to REST REST REST!
We have 4 birthdays to celebrate, an anniversary, a trip to GA, a jewish holiday, our baby shower and our everyday life! I have to say Mommy really enjoys all of this celebrating - which is turn means family, friends and baking - but at 30 weeks preggo ( TODAY! YAHOO!! ) I better remember to put my feet up at some point or else im really going to know what tired is! And hello Halloween decorations! :)
I always said the best way to make a house a HOME is to do what you want to it. My favorite thing is decorating for every single holiday. I always have and always will have a love for the cute-little-cheap-nic-nacs that fill up the rooms for each holiday. The random "BOO" signs all over the house, every towel in the kitchen and bathrooms changed to ghosts and pumpkins and candy corn filled wine glasses make me oh so happy. I think when Todd and I moved in together 5 years ago he was a little shocked at the fact I was a single, 22 year old who came into this relationship with cartons labeled anything from "Easter" to "Christmas and Thanksgiving". Homegoods, Ross and Marshalls practically know my name around any holiday season because Im always on the look out for cute new stuff :) I can thank my mom for this - she has always been the best nic-nac decorator...Thanks mom ;) So the cinnamon bun candles are out, the sugar cookie scented soap is on the counter and all we need is the weather to get a few degrees cooler and it will really seem like fall is here! ( oh...and that means just a few weeks closer to our baby boy!...eeek!! ) Another plus about this time of year - Football Season. We may be a "House Divided" when it comes to NFL - But our love of FSU make Saturdays a blast and this first one was far from disapointing. Some of our favorite people, killer homemade nachos, Blair winning Phase 10 at 1:00 am and a NOLES win - set football season off to an awesome start! So last night I had one of my - Up at 2:30 am and never went back to sleep till 5 am , nights. Nothing at all was wrong - I was just not tired AT ALL. So browsing on my phone online I came across a book - it was titled "101 things to do with your Toddler". Now, I dont really need something like that considering Jordyn and I are always go go go and have PLENTY to do - but it did inspire me to do something. There are 71 days until Kole will be here. As excited as I am, I have major major sadness for Jordyn - I know I have said this before and I know it's normal ( 100% normal ) but I cant shake the fact of feeling bad she wont be the only baby in this house anymore. So, Im going to make a bucket list - of things I want to do with her, and Todd, before the next 71 days are up. Jordyn has been anything but deprived...gymnastics, mommy and me classes, Disney 3 times, 2 amazing birthday parties, etc etc etc - but, I just want to give her a little more as an only child :) During nap time Im going to create that list so stay tuned - ill be back with that :)
